The aim of the festival is to celebrate the diversity of fantastic produce that is available on the North West Coast and it was born out of a concept put forward by the Devonport Branch of the Soroptimists 13 years ago.

It is co-ordinated by a dedicated committee, made up of members of the City of Devonport Lions Club, who are supported by volunteers, Devonport City Council, Tasmanian Agricultural Productivity Group and Soroptimist International.
